FAQs:

  • I’m currently only shipping to Canada & the US. I hope in the near future to ship elsewhere! If you’re located outside of Canada/US and truly in love with a piece, feel free to message me - we can make it work!

  • Please allow 5-7 days from your order date. This will allow for me to put the finishing touches & securely package your piece with care. You will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes tracking once your order leaves my hands.

  • Local to Toronto and want to pickup? Just select “Local Pickup - Toronto/GTA” under shipping methods at checkout to pick-up your order in person! After your order is received, you will be contacted via e-mail to schedule pickup.

  • All sales are final - I do not accept returns/exchanges or refunds. Please be sure you ♡love♡ the piece before purchase. Thanks for understanding!

  • Sending glass across the country can be risky - knowing this, I always use sturdy packaging with safety (and the environment) in mind. Although I do my best to provide your orders with a safe journey, sh*t happens!

If an item arrives broken/cracked or damaged, please contact me immediately. Please include photos of the damaged item & all packaging. Please contact me within 24 hours so that we can work on a timely resolution.

Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for lost/stolen packages.

  • Yes and no… I’m not actively taking commissions at this time. That being said, if there is a design I’ve made in the past that you loved and want made - reach out! I may be able to make it work, given glass availability and timeline.

  • I don’t currently do repairs/restorations on stained glass from other artists (suncatchers, windows, leadlight, etc). If an item you purchased from me happens to break, please get in touch and I may be able to repair it depending on the extent of the damage and glass availability. A lot of glass I use is vintage/discontinued and may not be replaced exactly.

  • All my work is made using the “Tiffany” method. Each piece is made from hand cut glass soldered together with lead (60/40), and occasionally framed with zinc. Should you be worried about the lead? Short answer - no. Lead isn’t harmful unless ingested. The risk is very minimal, but do wash your hands thoroughly after handling. As a precaution, keep out of reach from children & pets.

  • I kindly ask that my work is not to be copied or recreated. All my patterns and designs found on my website and social media are copyright protected and not to be recreated for private or professional use. Thanks for understanding!

  • Majority of the packaging materials I use are previously loved and reused. You can be sure your package will be neatly & securely wrapped and looking its best!

Please know glass sheets (new & vintage) often contain natural “imperfections” such as bubbles, blemishes, lines, creases, scratches and other textures. I like to think of these less as imperfections, but as unique characteristics of the glass. I do also check each piece for any major scratches and cracks - listings will be discounted if this is the case.

Keep in mind, glass is hard to capture accurately in photos and will sometimes look different in various lighting and environments. I do my best to capture each piece in a variety of lights for this reason.

HOW TO:

INSTALL

In most cases, your glass will come ready to hang with a chain or cord attached. To hang your piece in a window, I recommend using a nail or hook that’s screwed into the window frame. For non-invasive options - I’d suggest hanging it from the window lock/latch if yours has one. If you have a curtain rod, try hanging it from an S-hook.

For wall hanging, a nail hammered into drywall works for smaller pieces. For larger pieces, it's always best to screw or nail directly into a wall stud. Always be sure the nail or hook can hold the weight of the piece.

Please don’t use suction cups (or command hooks)! They are not entirely reliable, especially for heavier pieces, since they may pop off causing the piece to fall and break.

CLEAN

Your glass comes cleaned and polished with wax to protect it. You may never need to clean your piece other than dusting with a soft cloth or microfiber towel. Do not scrub your piece with any abrasive material or harsh chemicals (ie, windex/ammonia) as these may alter the appearance of the glass and wear the patina.

Over time, the solder can naturally oxidize caused by the lead reacting with oxygen & water in the air. You may notice a white outline or residue around solder joints. If this happens, gently apply wax to the solder with a soft cloth and buff until shiny. Wax on wax off!

Stained glass contains small amounts of lead. Lead isnt harmful unless ingested, so please wash your hands after hanging or cleaning.
